Five everyday habits

Curiosity, follow-through, company, warmth, and how fast you settle after a setback.

What they are

Tendencies, and the longer Five traits quiz, look at five ordinary habits. How curious you are. Whether you finish what you start. Whether you want company. How warm you are. How fast you settle after a setback.

These are cousins of a research model people call the Big Five. The quizzes here are written for this site. They are a reading of your answers, not a lab certificate.

An example, not your result. Each bar is its own habit. A high score on one does not require a low score on another.

They do not trade off

You can want company and still need a quiet morning. You can be warm and still slow to settle. The bars are separate. A strong follow-through does not spend your warmth.

People talk about these as if they were opposites. On the page they are five scores. Look for the high one and the low one. The story is usually in that pair.

A longer look

Tendencies is the short pass. Five traits asks more lines about the same five habits. Take the short one first. If a bar surprises you, the longer quiz is there.

Neither one is a type. You do not come out as a kind of person. You come out with five numbers from one sitting.
